Hi I'm a freelance sustainable product designer specialising in designing and presenting ideas and model/prototype making. I have particular interests in CAD/CAM and designing products to help conserve and filter water, slowing the use of water domestically. My other key interest is making products from plants, especially bamboo, and I have a keen interest in materials.
Previously I have worked in export, sales and marketing for a confectionery company, also within sales and marketing for many companies including those within the electronics control systems design, and PCB surface mount manufacturing and design industries.
I have carried out auditing of standard operating procedures, data processing and maintaining archives within a consultancy of geologists and hydrogeologists.
At a elevator engineering company in sales, preparation of tenders, excelling in customer service and administration, and as a computer operator/RPGIII programmer on IBM System 28 computer system, within a tractor parts wholesale and export company.
I am currently a freelance professional sustainable product designer and maker, an ambitious worker, inspired by nature using less materials and more innovation. I'm based in Cornwall amid the beautiful countryside and in a hub of creative activity.
My ideas fuse nature and technology crossing design and art boundaries using plants, textiles and science. Hoping to inspire empathy for the environment and make a difference to climate change.
