BAMBOO CHAISE LOUNGE
Inspired by architecture and structural shapes this piece of furniture is a development from the bamboo cloud design.

The method for joining the bamboo is unique. Pieces of bamboo are strung together like a necklace using paper twine.

CLOUD BENCH
During 2007 and through further experimenting with bamboo i made this bamboo bench.

This is the second prototype, a bench for 3 people. Idea based on a 'cloud' of bamboo.

CLOUD CHAIR
During 2006 i created structures with bamboo.

This is my first prototype a 'cloud' chair made from bamboo and hydrangea cuttings.

Inspiration for this chair came from the Japanese contemporary designer Tokujin Yoshioka's Super Fibre Revolution, a striking piece of sculpture made from drinking straws.

It took approximately 3 days to make.
